Southeast Asian Heritages Tour 11 Days

Tour Highlights: Hanoi - Halong Bay- Siem Reap - Bangkok - Ayuthaya
Tour program: 

Day 1: Hanoi Arrival (/D)
Upon arrival, our tour guide and driver will pick you up and transfer you to your hotel in Hanoi. Have diner and overnight in Hanoi.

Day 2: Hanoi (B/L)
In the morning to visit Ho Chi Minh mausoleum, House on Stilt, Tran Quoc pagoda, Army Museum and Hanoi Flag Tower. In the afternoon, visit Van Mieu – Quoc Tu Giam (The First National University established in 1076). Later on we take one hour cyclo ride around the trading area in Hanoi Old Quarter, and stop at Ngoc Son Temple for a short visit. The day tour ends with Water Puppet show at Thang Long theatre. Overnight in hotel in Hanoi.

Day 3: Hanoi - Halong Bay (B/L/D)
Early wake up and list the sound o peaceful Hanoi morning. Walking around Hoan Kiem lake and doing Tai Chi with locals. Back to your hotel for breakfast and fresh-up before heading to  Halong Bay, "Dragon Descending to the Sea". Upon arrival, we will embark to a junk /boat for a cruise around Ha Long Bay. While the junk cruising caves, grottoes, floating villages and beaches on Ha Long bay, having fresh seafood lunch on boat. Stop for a while for an excursing to Surprise Caves, (Grotto of Surprises) and Swimming, Kayaking (kayak cost is not include in this package) if weather permitted. Have dinner on board. In the evening, enjoy the night fishing (if weather permitted). Overnight on board.  

Day 4: Ha Long Bay - Hanoi (B/L)
In the morning, cruising more in the Halong bay before return to the Halong pier. Have lunch on boat and arrive at Ha Long wharf about 12.00 noon.
Car pick up and drive you toward Hanoi, stop on the way for 2 hours visit a special place in Bac Ninh, the cradle of Vietnamese folklore music in Red River Delta. We take a horse-drawn cart through country lanes to visit Dinh Bang Communal house & Do Temple which worship place of 8 (eight) kings of Ly Dynasty. After that you will be invited to enjoy Quan Ho folk songs (duo of love songs) performed by local artists and singers. Drive back to Hanoi for overnight.

Day 5: Ha Noi – Siem Reap (B)
Free time for optional visit and relax, then transfer to airport for an afternoon flight to Siem Reap. Overnight in Siem Reap.

Day 6: Siem Reap - Angkor Complexes (B/L/D)
We start on our bike and cycle (45 minutes for cycling) or drive to world heritage areas on the roads less traveled. Ride among the jungle passing local village and local shop. It’s a very special and acting day as you will explore some of Angkor’s most beautiful temples. You will visit the West Gate of Angkor Thom – undiscovered by mass tourist.

  • The ancient capital of Angkor Thom (12th century)
  • See the South Gate, Bayon Temple- unique for its 54 towers decorated with over 200 smiling faces of Avolokitesvara
  • The Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas
  • The Elephant Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King

The tour start with the visiting to the famous temple: Angkor Wat. Angkor Wat is a World Heritage Site since 1992, famous for its beauty and splendor. Angkor Wat features the longest continuous bas-relief in the world, which runs along the outer gallery walls and narrates stories from Hindu mythology, visit Bakheng Temple and enjoy a romantic sun set view form Bakheng hill.
Enjoy 1 hour foot massage before transfer to your hotel.

Day 7: Siem Reap (B/L)
Breakfast at the hotel, visit Kbal Spean, about 49km from Siem Reap Town and it is literally means "The head of the River.” It is one of the rivers in 1000 lingas that made up of unique lingas. Lingas stands into the riverbed of the Siem Reap River. It was believed that the lingas spiritually "fertilized” the waters that fed the Eastern bay and irrigated the rice fields. Lunch at local restaurant. After lunch, visit Banteay Srei and Banteay Samre. Afterwards back to Siem Reap for overnight.
Evening is your free time for walking at busy pub street, dinner in one of many typical local food restaurant, pop up a bar for cool drink or shopping at Angkor Night Market.

Day 8: Siem Reap – Bangkok (B/L)
This morning, you are visit Tonle Sap Great Lake. Visiting fisherman’s life, floating fishing village dot the semi-submerged forest that lines the flood plant rim of the lake. Back to Siem Reap city for a visit to Chantier Ecole-Artisan d’Angkor. Check out of hotel and depart to airport for a flight to Bangkok. Upon arrival, our car will pick you up and transfer you to your hotel. Overnight in Bangkok.

Day 9: Bangkok – Wats (B/L)
Today we begin our tour of Bangkok with a long tail boat ride along the Chao Phraya River to see many lively inner canals which provide some fantastic views of the local life. Along the way we will stop over at Wat Arun, the temple of dawn, before continuing to the Grand Palace which dedicated to the Thai Royal Family’s ceremonies. Nearby is the magnificent Wat Phra Kaew, which is famous for the Emerald Buddha Image. After seeing this complex we will drive through the many vibrant streets of China Town to some of the most significant temples in Bangkok. The landmark of Wat Traimit is well known as the Golden Buddha Temple while Wat Po houses a gigantic Reclining Buddha. Overnight in Bangkok.

Day 10: Bangkok - Ayuthaya (B/L)
Today you travel to the north of Bangkok, heading to Ayuthaya, the former capital of Siam. Once the center of the Kingdom, today only the ruins of this magnificients city remain. Visit Wat Mongkol Borphit with the gigantic bronze statue, the three ancient pagodas at Wat Phra Srisanphet and Wat Yai Chaimongkol. Lunch at a local restaurant. Afterwards take to “Bang Pa- Inn”, the old royal summer set in beautiful gardens. The Palace combines an exotic mixture of Thai, European and Chinese architecture. Drive back to Bangkok. Overnight in Bangkok.

Day 11: Bangkok (B)
Free time for shopping or relax until transfer to the Airport for the departure flight.
